Welcome to the forum!!!
Nice job on the spreadsheet. Your hard work and effort shows!
Any chance of including instructions on how to import data to the spreadsheet to make it user friendly?
Hopefully this is the right way to reply - Like I said I'm a newbie...
IN Sleepyhead Click file EXPORT then in the Dialog box that comes up labeled as Export to CSV (Comma Separated Value file) click the down arrow on the Quick Range line and select whether you want just today or a range of days or all your data - if you select Custom it activates the calendars and lets you choose Start and Ending dates...
Next, click one of the three options on the Resolution line -- I usually select the daily option because the details option gives thousands of line of data which might be OK for one or two days but for any longer you'll get more data than you can imagine especially with an Autoset machine.
Most of it is just pressure data second by second. There's some useful data there but you have to sift though a lot to get anything worthwhile. About the only useful data is the time in seconds per event which is nice but you have to hunt those needles in a very large haystack.
Finally, after you select Daily then click on the button to the right of filename and select a destination folder for the data and a file name you'll remember. It's an Excel.csv file once you do this the Export button will activate -- click it and you're done...
open the new Excel file and you'll see the raw data in Excel. Each row contains one day of data. The date and time in Sleepy Head have a "T" (for time) in them that Excel does not recognize as a valid date. Use the search and replace option in excel to replace all the t's with a single space...
There are several columns of zeroes in the data that have no apparent meaning ??? not sure why and there are some other numeric data that I have no idea what are for. I can't seem to find matching data in SH to match any of it. I think the 95% pressure data is there or at least it close so locate it.
I copy all this new data to the spreadsheet "Scratch sheet" There's a macro there that will replace all the "t" with spaces if you select just those cells first. When you get the data properly lined up under the right headers on the scratch sheet then select just the data and copy it. don't select anything beyond the 95% column....
FINALLY go to the bottom of the data on the ALL DATA sheet in column "C" (under the green Macro button) and do a PASTE SPECIAL from the edit menu and select values only to paste the data into the sheet. NOTE: the time info from Sh is not a valid time according to Excel but it should still reflect the time you used CPAP. It takes into account the session times in some way. I used a logical formula to do the same thing on mine but when you paste the data in it overwrites the formulas, so you need to go back and recopy them down from a cell above or below.
The calculated time with formulas is 100% accurate but I finally realized it's counting the time between when you started therapy the night before and when you cut off the machine the next morning. It does not take into account the session times when you were not on the machine at the potty or reading at night with the mask off, etc...
Hope this helps some. Just be careful with the formulas. I think I protected the workbook to protect them and if you need to unlock it I'll send you the P/W by PM. Have a large time...
