Periodic Breathing

Periodic Breathing
Hello,

I have a question about period breathing.  I've been using cpap for 3 months have noticed period breathing in SleepyHead a few times.  It's showing up as less than 1% so my machine displays it as 0%.  I'm wondering if this is true periodic breathing or just the machine misinterpreting.  I'm hoping some of the more experienced folks might take a look and give their impressions.

RE: Periodic Breathing
Most of this appears to be inspiratory flow limitation, and is not representative of periodic breathing, and especially, there is no apnea or even hypopnea at the flow minimums. Not an uncommon situation, and certainly not a problem for your health. Sometimes that pattern may respond to a pressure increase, or in bilevel, pressure support. The screen shots don't give any insight to leaks or CPAP pressure.
