CMS50F external oximeter probe on CMS50D+?
Hi,
I found a youtube video that shows an external oximeter probe attached to a CMS50D+. I wonder if anyone have tried to use a CMS50F probe on a CMS50D+ and if it works? Thanks! Br, rost

I don't have a D+, but I took a careful look at my F. It has five contacts on each side of the tab inside the connector in the the meter, and five on each side of the slot in the connector on the finger probe. If the D+ has five on each side it may be able to use the remote probe, but I'm not sure how you might wear the two pieces.

It is a micro-USB connection, so the connection should be OK. I just hope the data streams are compatible. I have just ordered a cheap one on ebay, so I guess i will know eventually

The remote finger probe on my CMS-50F uses a mini-USB connector - I forgot to mention that. If the D+ us a micro-USB, it definitely won't work.
The mini-USB is 3mm thick - about an eighth of an inch. The micro-USB is 2mm thick - just over a sixteenth. Or look at the pictures in Wikipedia to be sure.

I just assumed that the CMS-50F also had a micro-USB connection, but I was wrong.
