When using EPR at 2, we recommend the minimum pressure be set at 6.0. This allows the EPR to remain consistent throughout therapy. The behavior of your pressure is not like anything I have previously seen, almost like ramp, but I see that is off. You only spent 5-1/2 hours on therapy and took a long time to go to sleep. I think the lack of sleep time speaks for itself as to why you don't feel rested. If you're going to bed at 2:30 AM and have to be up at 7:00 I would not expect much improvement. For settings, a minimum pressure of 6.0 will help. Sleep hygiene may be the answer to the rest of it.

Insomnia and apnea? I've had those linked in the past before PAP therapy was doing well. I'm there again as I'm on a path to a different machine type. As I see it, if you are suffering from high apnea counts, your body can attempt to defend itself by just staying awake. While awake you aren't getting apnea, so the body injects insomnia into the equation and avoids apnea by avoiding sleep. That is until you are so dreadfully tired you fall asleep anywhere and sometimes suddenly. Once PAP therapy starts working in an optimized fashion, and begins to erase the sleep debt, you will feel better and the body learns not to fight sleep like it has for the past few years.

I really dont have high AHI count.
I know Insomnia is genetic too as my mom has it.
What I dont get though sometimes the AHI is very low and you dont feel like you got a good deep sleep, and sometimes AHI is higher
and you feel great. Sleep is a mystery and I don't think science knows much about it...
I was asking to see if any data from CPAP can tell when you are in deep sleep . 
My last report looks good but I feel terrible.
I know I did not sleep many hours, because I took the mask off in the morning and continued my shallow sleep till 11am.

Check the flow limitations, they don’t record in tha ahi but can cause sleep disruption which may wake you up or stop you from deep sleep. OSCAR charts these and you can see how many and severity
Apnea (80-100%) 10 seconds, Hypopnea (50-80%) 10 seconds, Flow Limits (0-50%) not timed  Cervical Collar - Dealing w DME - Chart Organizing

Just check the chart, are there a lot of them, are they grouped together, how large are they...  The less of each of these is better and the more you have of each the more chance your sleep is interrupted.   There will be no way to get it down to 0, we are all diagnosed with apnea and this is apnea. (again, look at the bottom signature, it shows the length of time for each and the % of blockage)

here are examples of high flow limits and low flow limits... which do you think had a better nights sleep?
