High Resp Rate and Flow Limits

High Resp Rate and Flow Limits
Therapy has been going good up until the past two weeks. Now I'm waking up tired and my charts look like what I attached. Wondering what could be causing the flow limits and high respiratory rates. Any insight is much appreciated.

RE: High Resp Rate and Flow Limits
You have very high intermittent flow limits that you can easily pick out in the flow rate graph and even the respiration rate is spiky. We can take a closer look at the flow during those "clusters" of greater obstruction, but this is a form of positional apnea without the apnea. Your head/neck position is becoming misaligned which obstructs the airway. In your case, there is no OA, but there is a LOT of respiratory effort and flow limitation. The answer to this is not so much in your CPAP settings, but to identify and remedy the source of the positional misalignment. This could be as simple as use of pillows that are too tall or too firm, or you may be tucking your chin while on your side. Either way, there is a solution and many of our members use a soft cervical collar to train themselves or forcibly avoid chin-tucking. A couple wiki articles:
