Can anyone read 'Sleep Profiler' files?
Hello,

I received a 'Sleep Profiler' for a research study I'm participating in. I think it's from this manufacturer: https://www.advancedbrainmonitoring.com/sleep-profiler/

The Sleep Profiler is mentioned in this post on the Apnea Board forum: http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...ion--27273

Anyone have any software to dump and read the files? It connects via micro USB and shows up as a memory card:

Code:
[346350.978614] usb 3-3: new high-speed USB device number 9 using xhci_hcd

These files show up:
Code:
$ ls -l

-rw-r--r-- 1 kevin kevin      65536 Feb  1  2019  App.dat

-rw-r--r-- 1 kevin kevin   33554432 Feb  1  2019  Voice.bin
The files that are powers of two (65536) are mostly empty. The .bin files seem to be the operating system of the device. The Subject.xml seems to contain an empty XML template. The only file of interest is the Study.data file:
Code:

This seems to be a header. There are many blocks of other, structured, header-type text. However, there are some blocks that seem to be binary data:

RE: Can anyone read 'Sleep Profiler' files?
Sleep Profiler requires access to the Sleep Profiler Portal to obtain the online reports from Advanced Brain Monitoring. The recording device is not specifically limited to clinical or physician use, but the software is. Since this is a FDA approved software application, access to the portal is not available to non-clinicians. Apnea Board cannot act as a channel to bypass this requirement, and in any event, I'm not aware of anyone with access to this software.  If you or your doctor are able to create an account, with ABM, then you can obtain the report through that channel.  Please review Rule 3 of Apnea Board Rules.

Quote:3.  No member may use their forum account to solicit or facilitate the sale, trade, or transfer of any prescription-required items (such as CPAP machines, humidifiers, masks or mask parts).* Soliciting or facilitating the sale, trade, or transfer of commercially-sold or pirated computer software packages or digital media is also prohibited.   Members using a forum account for promoting spam of any kind will be banned.

If you are able to obtain an account, the Setup seems straight-forward:
