Can someone take a look at my SH charts?

RE: Can someone take a look at my SleepyHead charts?
Give Sleeprider's suggestion a try for a week or so and see if you feel any different.

After six months, it might be time for a medical work-up to see if something else is contributing to your feeling weak and tired. A full blood panel might be where your doctor would want to start. I would suggest you make sure you're being evaluated for anemia, thyroid problems, and connective tissue autoimmune disease, along with whatever else.

Please keep us posted. We'll want to help in whatever way we can, plus your experience may turn out to help someone else.

@Sleeprider
I travelled overseas in September and the machine's date and time didn't resync when I got back. My sleep sessions haven't really changed much.

My second sleep study showed that my AHI dropped even further at 7cm, but I was prescribed 5cm anyway. I did try it for a week or so at 7cm but my AHI didn't increase. I also get mouth leaks over 8cm.

Dekkalife, the increased proportion of obstructive events is the basis for suggesting a 1-cm increase. Your therapy seems to be trending better, but I think that is a way toward further improvement at this point, while maintaining the advantages of fixed pressure.

Dekkalife,

If you want to set your clock back, do it in the eve before you use the machine but you can only set it backwards as far midday local time and not if the machine had been used. The clock does not change automatically

RE: Can someone take a look at my SleepyHead charts?
So I tried 6cm the other night, and I woke up an hour later with painful sinuses, so I brought it back down to 5cm. I've been up to 12cm before without a problem, but that was in the summer (humid climate). Now that it's winter (and dry), I'm wondering if that extra cm is causing the sinus pain. I have the humidifier turned off (running passively) because I thought it was causing me congestion. Maybe I need to turn it back on.

For some people with sinus/nasal-passage/allergy/cold problems, humidity helps; for others, it makes things worse. So you should experiment.

You had been using 6 for a couple of nights without having sinus pain, is that right? It's worth bearing in mind that the sinus pain may have nothing to do with the pressure change. If it were me, I'd keep the pressure at 6 tonight and try a little humidity to see how it goes.

Do you ever use NeilMed sinus rinse? My allergist recommended it to me, not for sinus pain but for allergy problems. Might be worth a try. You would find it in any large drug store.

@Dormeo
I tried 7cm for a few nights a while ago, can't remember exactly when, but it would have been warmer and more humid at the time.

I haven't experienced a single sinus problem or allergies since I had surgery on them years ago. I used to do sinus rinses, but I found they actually increased the amount of infections I got dramatically.

I'll give the humidifier a go. Thanks.

So the past two nights my AHI has been a bit higher than usual. How long should I keep it at 6cm before readjusting?
