Can someone with a Resmed Airsense 10 help me with preventing rainout?

I have humidity set at 6, use an unheated hose, and my room is quite cool; but I never have rainout. I read somewhere that it can be avoided by having the machine well below head level and eliminating low points in the hose. Any condensate drains freely back to the humidifier.  That's how I have it set up and it seems to work. I had my old machine at head level with the hose drooping down and had to quit using the humidifier because the hose would fill with water and gurgle.
