I would wake up to use the restroom in the first 3-4 months to find that I had removed the mask many times. I once or twice found it detached from the hose and thrown across the room. It just takes time. I can't sleep without "La Machine" now.
I also found that where I used to drop off in minutes, even seconds, now I have to wait several minutes for everything to "feel right" to drop off to sleep.
