Can't Sleep Without It
Getting ready for bed last night: I took my bedtime pills, snorted my required puffs of Nasonex, tuned the radio to the classical music station, climbed into bed and tossed and turned for about an hour. Kept thinking that I'd forgotten to do something but didn't realize what it was until I got up to pee.
I'd forgotten to put my mask on! I'd changed the sheets that morning and hung the mask over the top rail of the bed. Since my bedroom was dark, I did not see the mask hanging above my head until I was exiting the bathroom. Took down the mask, got in bed and was asleep within 5 minutes.
Morale of the story: Having slept every night since titration (in 1995) with a CPAP, I can no longer get to sleep without it!
