Can too much minEPAP cause nervousness/shakiness in morning?
Since I was having some issues with my SpO2 dropping below 90%, I increased minEPAP from 5.00, to 5.40. Also using PS3, and BIPAP goes from 5.40 to 8.40 on breathes I think.
The last few days, I've still been feeling really tired, and upon waking, feel very jittery and nervous, like I'm going to have an anxiety/panic attack.
I haven't felt this way in a very long time, but it has happened in the past when I started CPAP last year.
Last night I kept waking up, not sure why, but i didnt sleep well and had trouble going back to sleep. Tried taking Melatonin and also Clonopin that my doctor prescribed. Flow limitation looks good. I know I have major leaks, but that never caused this type of nervous feeling in the past. And usually my O2 is better with the more leaks I have.

RE: Can too much minEPAP cause nervousness/shakiness in morning?
Your EPAP is about as low as it goes. Your problem is leaks and therapy fragmentation. I would look at anxiety as a primary problem, and not a product of PAP therapy.

Fragmented sleep and low O2 will not help, but lack of sleep and worry will not help.
Stop worrying and get a good sleep, do you the world of good.
Do you get any pops or noises in the head when you just get up by any chance?
I am NOT a doctor. I try to help, but do not take what I say as medical advice.
Every journey, however large or small starts with the first step.

No pops or noises. Just have palpitations and heart beats fast at times and when I sit up feel like my blood pressure is a little low. But every time they check blood pressure during the day they say it is fine.
