That's FANTASTIC! Congrats

Does your pressure ever get up over 18 cm/H2O?

Yes, I have had a cold for the last week and my pressure has been
up to 20. I'm hoping it is only because of my cold.

RE: Celebration Time
Well done readyforsleep!
I have heard good reports about the Simplus.
Keep up the good work, but don't be put off if you have the odd slip-up now and again they do happen, for whatever reason, just keep on chasing those great results.

You will be reaping the benefits before you know it.
Sleep Tight...

Do your leaks increase when the pressure goes up to 20?

see attached screen shot. Last night leaks were good at a high pressure
until around 4AM. It started leaking around my cheek and I realized the
bottom strap was loose.

I definitely don't have this all figured out. Even with my pad-a cheek,
I have it pretty tight and end up with puffy eyes.

RE: Celebration Time
That looks very good to me. It looks like the Simplus holds well even at 20 cm pressure. I know what you mean about having the straps tight. I use a bi-level pressure of 20/16 and I have to have the straps on my Mirage Quattro very tight to keep it from leaking. I finally have the leakage pretty well controlled but it definitely has required very tight headgear. Several other things I have found that help the seal are;

Making sure that the strap adjustments on both sides of each set of straps are equal. Just each pair being equal not all four.

Making sure that the mask and headgear are centered on your head once the mask is on. I do this by reaching behind my head and grasping one set of straps with both hands, pulling it away from my head and moving it back and forth until the mask feels centered. Repeat with the other set.

These help keep the tension equal on both sides which helps to keep leaks down. Just in case you were not already doing this.

Thanks a lot for the response. That is very informative. I shied away from trying the Simplus because of a report that someone was having leaks whenever the pressure got up to 18. I think I will try a Simplus the next time I am eligible for a new mask.

Best Regards,

PaytonA
