Central Apneas

RE: Central Apneas
My mouth this morning was a little dry but not to bad.  I will use the chin strap tonight and check the fit of the nasal mask.  I feel well and rested.  Total AHI last night was 4.5 - 3 bing CAs and the rest Hypopneas.  Thank you for your insight.

RE: Central Apneas Experimenting
[attachment=7763]
Good morning,
I have been experimenting with different pressures to see if I could limit my Central apneas.  The chart attached will show a lot of leaks but they don't seem to affect my apneas.  With the pressure at 7.00 to 8.40, I had two CAs and one Hypopnea at 10 sec.  No OAs, in fact wiith all my experimenting I think that I had 1 OA.  If I stayed at this rate of CAs and Hypopneas of only 10 sec. and no OAs, I think I should be happy.  Feel great.  Thoughts?  Thanks in advance.

RE: Central Apneas
The biggest change is you have EPR set at ramp-only, so you are not getting EPR during therapy. The number of events is down dramatically, so keep the EPR off. You have a lot of leaks that appear to be from your mouth. Whether they affect your apnea or not, you will sleep better if you get that under control.
