Central apnea and oxygen
#11
Question
Actually reason might be Stress or anxiety... i have complex sleep apnea, mostly CAs and RERAs. No obvious reason for the CA.. but my guess is stress or general anxiety

True central apnea needs to be diagnosed in the lab. On the cautious side I believe you should discuss this with your doctor. We don't know all of the effects of using O2 when not specifically ordered. I'd hate for you to be dead one morning because your O2 levels were so high you don't need to breathe. This is something to do in conjunction with your physician, please. Be very careful. Good luck and good thinking.
