Does anyone have information or experience with Central sleep apnea (CSA) and Traumatic brain injury (TBI).

CSA is associated with many conditions, including TBI, but many neurological conditions, opioid use, health and cardiac conditions and even just idiopathic CSA are possible. We even had a recent case of Vagus nerve injury that appears to be related to centrals. Therapy choices vary with severity from invasive ventilation to adaptive servo ventilation and volume assured positive pressure. You're just going to have to narrow down your question.

Probably may need extra info and historical data regarding treatments attempted. CA can result from injuries such as this.

I strongly recommend that you urge your friend to discuss her concerns with her doctor. Also, has she been medically diagnosed with central apnea? If yes, is she using a machine? If yes, what kind?
