Actually it was the APAP on November 4.  The 7.52 chart is with the 'awake' clutter on the end removed from the full night. https://imgur.com/a/SZxiP

That is the same as Vauto mode, EPAP min 10, IPAP max 20, PS 3.  I think we've been there.

This will max it out while those OA are happening and if that doesn't clear the obstruction, getting a 25cm st or vaps won't do anything anyway. You will need a 30 or 40cm unit high end stuff and I wouldn't do that without a good doctor and better insurance. It's pointless having backup breathing rate for a few ca when you would be still choking on OA.

Are you referring to the VPAP 25/21 PS 4?   Getting through to my Doc or his PA is really like trying to converse with the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain.  Drove about 50 miles today to drop off a letter and copies of sleep charts to the receptionist after I got no return call yesterday.  It's 4:30 now and still have not received any response today.
Eat-popcorn Beginning to think maybe I should do what I want 'cause maybe they don't really give a damn!  Cannot determine the effect on medicare insurance if I refuse to keep begging for assistance and do just that.

WOA! (4:40) Just got a call from the receptionist and was told the Doctor wanted to schedule a half-hour to discuss the questions I had presented.  I am scheduled to have that appointment on DECEMBER 12th (27 days).  The secretary she did not know if I was to keep using the PAP machine at current settings as that is a medical question and she only handles the scheduling. ['E-ll with 'em] On with business:

Nearly a seven hour segment from last night. https://imgur.com/a/DqESj  It does not show the first and third segments. Total night was a AHI-10.84

From your previous post, it sure looks like you've already titrated for BiPAP ST at 16/6 (PS 10). Glad to see your result is a bit better last night, however you remain consistently inconsistent. I think the sleep study confirms my suspicion many OA events are actually centrals and the machine is just unable to make a proper determination.

Yes AHI 6.9.  And indeed that is what confused me when  the BiPAP ST was not prescribed but instead the VPAP.  Either he didn't bother to read the titration he ordered OR the Wizard has something up his sleeve besides his arm.

LocoMaybe in 26 days he'll share what it is..

Got to 'Dance with the devil' last night.  Due to pressure sore spot on my beak I bought a p-10 and tried it with first a collar then a chin strap.  Initially impressed with the method of air delivery but that didn't last long..  Fought to get to sleep 4 1/2 hours thinking the mouth pharts might subside- they didn't.  Coughing is a adventure with it.   I had noticed that the AHI's have been creeping upwards previously.  Have 5-6 days now to reach my 21 day insurance compliance.  The p-10 now resides in the drawer with some other dead soldiers Wink .  Like it but just does not work for me.  Back to the F-20 AirTouch with a ResMed Gecko nasal pad.

What I meant was, from the chart you are running a median ipap of 19.2 ..95% 21.9 and max 22.9 and you have an obstructive index of oa 5. https://imgur.com/a/DqESj
I'm wondering if a machine including a st or vaps where it's top limit is 25, is going to resolve your OA/H. If you self fund, I would want my OA/H resolved with a 25cm machine before I bought any type of one. There are machines that have a 30 or 40 max pressure, you may need one of these.
The suggestion to try 25 ps 4 for one night, or block of sleep, was it see if that controlled your OA, I think the result could be still high oa and indicating a higher pressure machine may be needed, as well as a backup rate..

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure.

Guess I need another lesson.  My VPAP settings currently are: Max IPAP 25/Min EPAP 13/PS 4.0

Doesn't this equate to: 17 > IPAP < 25/  13 > EPAP < 21/  and IPAP   EPAP difference = 4 at all times?

*If correct why does the machine not max out at 25 anytime?

*What settings will allow it to move max limit to the 25 it is supposed to be?

The machine settings is able to go to 25, but the algorithm isn't taking it there and is leaving you with OA 5. It's no big deal as it seems you are going to go through insurance. It was just if you were self funding. I wanted you to make sure a 25cm machine was going to be enough and a min 21 with ps 4 may have given that answer.
