The "I" versions of the Resmed 30 series, the N30i in your case, have the hose attachment point at the top of the head. This series also offers an improved diffuser. I believe that they have the exhaust ports up there as well. Hopefully, someone else will be able to provide a more definitive answer.

The Airfit P10 nasal pillows mask has a very quiet vent that you might not even notice. If you have not tried nasal pillows, it is a remarkably light, easy to seal and quiet mask.

RE: New to CPAP and need help, please.
I do have the Dreamwear full face, which was the first gear I bought and have been eyeing up the nasal cushions to try that are comparable to that headgear. I think thats my next step.
