Changing from DreamStation To A ResMed Device

RE: Changing from DreamStation To A ResMed Device
To help with the heated hose issue, you need to recognize the whole picture about it. Its goal isn't to heat the air or hose for you to notice, but to add enough heat to prevent the moisture from condensing on the hose. Admitted, if it's really cold, I seem to feel a slight warming up of the hose in the winter, but it's never going to get very warm to the touch. In fact, the warmth may not be noticable to some.

With your rainout issue, as you've already maxed out the heated hose setting, I'd consider trying Manual humidifier setting at 4 to start. Monitor how things are with this, and you may have to change humidity setting up or down a click to get to your best setting. Then you might be able to lower the heated hose temperature afterwards, if you choose to.

Thanks, Dave!

I tried 4 and still had some rainout, so went to 3, and no rainout, but I feel dry in the morning.

On the heated tubing—agreed it doesn’t get all that warm, wit with the DreamStation heated tubing, I could feel it was a bit warmer than other objects.  Since I never had rainout issues in past, concerned something isn’t working properly.
