Changing the date on F&P Icon Auto?
#1
Hello Everyone!

I'm a newbe, I have been using my cpap close to a week now.
Took to it rate away, Like a fish in water.

I have a Fisher & Paykel Icon Auto
With heated tube and Humidifier, Nice.

I have one item (setup) that I'm would like to figure out with some help.

My Sleep data is being saved to the USB stick,
However, It's still time stamping with the old date information 12.01.2007

I have looked at the setup menu and can't seem to find where to change the date ?

Can anyone help with this information ?

I'm thinking that it must be there, And I may be brain dead ? Can't see it!

Also, Thanks for your help in regards to downloading:
The Setup Manual.
And The Sleepy Head Software.

Great Board!
Thanks,
Dick

Dick, this page shows how to change the time on your machine... it may also be similar procedure for changing the date:

Perhaps someone else who has one of the Icons can tell us for sure.

I'll say it again, Great Board!

The time setting has never been a problem, But I don't seem to have that date menu,
And it doesn't continue after the time is set ?

No problem, I'm working around that, The date is no problem, I just change the dates on the files.

Being a newbe, And a quick learner I have a few wrinkles to work out, And I will.

Speaking of wrinkles, I have a couple more, And the second wrinkle being the most important.

Does anyone have any information about the error codes ?

I think I figured the 5.00 , Blower / Fan Failure!

And now for my most important thing I need to do rate away!
I'm looking to buy a replacement Blower (Fan) ASAP if anyone has information on where to purchase ?

At 7:30am this morning my F&P Icon Auto QUIT !
Actually the Blower quit and I believe left me with a 5.00 error.

I've only be using this machine for about 4 days, And now I want to keep using it!
I purchased this machine as used but never used, It had been setting around for a few years
I'm sure it picked up some moisture and whatever.

I figured I have nothing to loose, So I'll take it apart and look it over. And I did!
Yup, The blower or Fan was not working, The bearing sounded a little dry.
I managed to get a little lube down the shaft, Noticed a little rust, So I guess moisture got it!

Anyway, It's back up and running for who knows how long.
Tonight and a few more nights would be great.

So if anyone can help, I need to purchase a new or used blower.

Thank you SuperSleeper for the move and the push!

Thanks All,
dick

While still looking around for a Motor for my F&P Icon Auto I have purchased a new Cpap.

My new best friend is the:
DeVilbiss IntelliPAP™ Auto

I might setup it up tonight ? Doing some reading!

And yes, I have questions, What fun would we have without questions, And hopefully answers ?

Is there any way to read the DeVilbiss IntelliPAP data with just a cable,
Or is the SmartLink Module and Data Card a must.
It would be nice if SleepyHead could read this direct.
That might be wishful thinking.
Just saying!

thanks,
dick

you will not typically find parts for medical devices on the open market as only qualified and approved (by the mfgr) repair centers will have them. Some mfgrs will only do in house repairs.

If it is a bad bearing and it is a removeable type, it may be able to be sourced if you can measure it acurritly.
