If it is a bad bearing and it is a removeable type, it may be able to be sourced if you can measure it acurritly.

Yup, Your right!

I was hoping to just change out the motor, Kind' a didn't want to dismantle the hole thing!

However, I did dismantle the hole thing, And remove the Bearings.
I found the replacement Bearings and the Icon is currently on a 12 hour test run.
So far, So good!

thanks,

Well, I have to remenber that excuse. 'Honey, I need only needed that long nap to test my cpap'
Glad to know you can replace the bearings in the Icon. Mine should have few more years before it will need them.

Funny One!

Do you think it would be helpful if I posted a How Too ?
Not a lot of people would want to tackle this project of replacing bearings.

ThanksJust a little update.

F&P is running nice and quiet.

The reason I had to change out my Bearings.

I purchased this Cpap used with only a couple of hours on it.
But it sat around for about three and a half years.
It looks like the Bearings got some moisture in them,
As they were a little rusty looking!

So they seized up!

So keep your Cpap's in a dry place if your storing it.
