Chin strap - homemade
Chin strap - homemade
For anyone considering making their own chin strap, this may be the place to go.  I haven't used the pattern yet but have every intention of doing so as the commercial ones - even the expensive ones - don't work for me.

If it works for you, I'm glad.  If it doesn't - I apologize!

RE: Chin strap - homemade
I make my own out of simple elastic bought from a fabric store. The elastic is about 2cm (1.5") wide, the kind used for waistbands. I just cut off a piece long enough to go tightly around my head, from under my chin to the highest point at the back of my head, then I just stitch the ends together to make a ring. The wider the elastic you can buy the better. It's cheap, effective, and I don't have to deal with ordering from a DME, prescriptions, and all that annoying stuff.
