RE: Chronic Insomnia
I went to post my chart from last night to get you to take a look at it and the program says I have used my allocated attachment usage. Do I need to start a new thread?

No, it means that you need to delete your oldest attachments. They are located in your User Control Panel.

Here are a few screenshots from last night. It shows I had 7 events before 1:00a.m. when I woke up for no reason and this also happened the night before last.

RE: Chronic Insomnia
How do you feel about adding 1-cm to EPAP min pressure to 8.0?

RE: Chronic Insomnia
I am willing to try anything to help me sleep better. I used that 10:00p.m. - 1:00a.m. segment because I know I was asleep that whole time and that just seemed like a lot of events for 3 hours. I am still working on my leak problem. I had ordered a F&P Brevida nasal pillow mask and when I tried it the cushion that came with it was too large for my nose and I have reordered the smaller size. Tonight I think I will try the Airfit P10 and see how I do with it.

RE: Chronic Insomnia
To help me better understand my sleep therapy better I was wondering what will raising EPAP min. to 8 do for me?

Thanks,
Mark

RE: Chronic Insomnia
[attachment=29353]Apparently I was still mouth leaking even though I was using Somnifix mouth strips. Last night I decided to put a piece of medical tape over the Somnifix and my leak percentage dropped way down. But something is still waking me throughout the night and I don't know if it's apneas or something else. Here is a screenshot from last night if someone would take a look at it and tell me what they see.

RE: Chronic Insomnia
my 2 cents worth: your leaks could be better but they're not bad; better than mine most of the time. the flow limitations aren't horrible either but my guess is they're problematic for you. they may be driving pressure higher than you need/want. if it was me, I'd try ps 4 over 7 or 8 to 12 or 13 and see what happens. it should reduce flow limitations, leaks and maybe ca. if the lower max ipap doesn't resolve the ca, you can try setting trigger to very high. if oa creeps back up, you can raise min epap.
