Claustrophobia

RE: Claustrophobia
I really struggled with it at first. What helped me was to channel Star Wars' more recent movie, and to say to myself "I'm one with my mask, and my mask is one with me."

Seriously. It worked.

YES.

Back in the day (1996) nasal masks did not exist, and the get-up was a nasal mask with a plastic T-bone on your forehead with pads.

Took me from March to September before I woke up at the end of the night without ripping off the mask in my sleep.

When somethings sitting on your head/face it's a natural reflex to pull it off.

But yeah, whatever time you get wearing it is a step in the right direction and reduces your accumulated exhaustion.

I kept persevering because I could tell I was getting better slowly (and frankly the alternative is an early heart attack/stroke/death)
