Cleaning Silicon on Mask
What’s the real answer ?

RE: Cleaning Silicon on Mask
Are you referring the model with memory foam? If it's the silicone only model it can be wet with water. I've been using the same cushion for over a year and wash it with water daily.

^^^^ This.
The AirFIT F20 is perfectly safe to get wet and clean with baby shampoo, Dawn, or plain water. The AirTOUCH F20 is memory foam. It is a closed-cell foam, so *exposure* to water will not harm it, but I would not recommend submersion. It can be gently cleaned with a lint-free towel or alcohol and aloe-free wipe, but the inability to fully "scrub it out" is likely why ResMed initially recommended replacement every 30 days, though they later said that 60 is acceptable.

Note that it's siliconE, not silicon.
Sort of like the difference between coal and plastic.

Nice signature line, archangle.
Never noticed it before. A to the DME sentiment. Taking all things a DME tells us with a grain of salt will give you high blood pressure BTW.
