Cleaning?

RE: Cleaning?
I must confess. I have been for weeks at a time without cleaning my mask or anything else. I am lucky if I clean it once a week. I have never cleaned a hose.

RE: Cleaning?
I clean everything in hot soapy water once a week.

I recently got a hose brush which works nicely.

confessions are ok ... your secrets are safe with the Padre from CPAP police Too-funny
but you really ought to washing the mask after each use to remove any facial oil so would feel fresh, fit and seal better
better mask fit = better sleep quality

Hoses and water tank also cleaning ... don,t forget to check and replace the air filter too

I was thinking about buying a Hose Brush as I wondered how well I would be able to clean any bacteria build-up in the "ribs" with just soap and water. My RT suggested unscented Dish Soap, looked last night, didn't find any yet.

If your grocery store is like ours, you'll have to look in the specialty aisle or in a separate section of the same aisle.

After a bad experience with a nasty hose, I just replace mine every 3 months and rinse with vinegar solution once a week.

Hi. Where did you get the hose brush and how does it work? Will it work with a 10' hose? Bob.

The hose brush is found at almost all of the online shops. Supplier #1 has it for just under $15. It is 5'.

There are no ribs on the inside of the hose.

Pick a liquid hand soap with a fragrance you like. Watermelon is my fav.
