Clear Airway Help

Clear Airway Help
Hello all,

I have had good results with constant pressure of 8 and EPR of 3.

However, the last 3 nights my CA has gone up from .4 - .6 to 1.5 - 1.8.  What adjustment(s) can I try to lower the CA?

Thanks!

Unless the duration of events is approaching 20 seconds, I wouldn't worry about those CA.Reducing your EPR to 2 should reduce your CA index, in any case.

Ahhh ok!

By reducing my EPR to 2, what other areas might worsen a little? Just trying to understand the EPR balancing act. Thanks!

Reducing EPR might increase flow limitation, but as you know, it's a tradeoff. Give it a try and see which settings feel best, and go with that. Either way, your events are very low.
