Resmed Stellar 150
Hi,

I was switched to the Resmed Stellar 150 on Tuesday (was previously using the Resmed Lumis VPAP 150).

A couple of questions.

Is it possible to switch the screen off during treatment, because it is lighting up my bedroom?  All previous machines I've used the screen turns off after a certain length of time.

If I was to download the data using the Resmed USB stick, does that delete the data off the machine?

Oh and the Stellar is so much more noisier than the Lumis  Sad

RE: Resmed Stellar 150
airbusA346,
I wish I knew the answers to your questions.  All I do know is that the ResMed Stellar 150 is a ventilator that is used by hospitals or home use.

I would think that there should be a way to turn off or dim the light.  If not, maybe you can cover it with something.

As far as the data being deleted from the machine after downloading, it seems unlikely.
At least it should retain some summary data.

If you don’t have the Clinicians Manual, we have it available here.
Scroll down to Section Three.  I hope you find some answers.
