RE: Clusters?
Clusters might occurs during deeper/REM sleep stages, you might consider set the machine in APAP mode so it can increase pressure whenever is needed. REM sleep is restorative sleep where you feel most rested
AHI 1.5 is quite good, AHI 5 and below considered good results
RE: Clusters?
you had no clusters.... that would be a multitude of apneas in a string within a rather short timeframe.... like 12 apneas in 8-12 minutes.

RE: Clusters?
That is what I'm trying to find out- is there an accepted preferably medical or other definition at to what constitutes a 'cluster'?
Is there a minimum number of events within a certain time frame to constitute what is considered to be a 'cluster'?
Is 'cluster' medical terminology or patient/layman's definition?
I had 5 apneas in 5 minutes, occurring shortly before waking that morning.
RE: Clusters?
Your APAP, by definition, is capable of a range of pressures, yet you have it fixed. If the clusters are obstructive events, using a range instead of fixed might mean fewer events, fewer clusters. If they are centrals, a lower starting pressure (with a range) might lower them as well.
RE: Clusters?
906am to 921am is just 15 minutes.
Chances are high that you were actually awake (by EEG standard). Or you were transitioning from sleep to fully awake. In this transition and in awake state, the apnea scoring is irrelevant. So I will question if these are real apnea events, let alone clusters.
