RE: Contacting Resmed US Support
Without exception, Resmed will not answer questions about therapy or use of a device, and any device warranty, repairs or technical information is handled through authorized resellers and repair facilities. Simply put, neither Resmed or Philips will talk on any substantive matter with end users. Apnea Board has many repair manuals in the private files area, but not for most Resmed machines. Resmed technical and repair information is not public information. We do have some repair facilities on the supplier list, and you would be more likely to get an answer from one of them.

RE: Contacting Resmed US Support
The reason I wanted to contact them was to ask about the peak power consumption with max settings max tube temp and max humidifier over 12h. I'm trying to build up a sustainable way of getting/storing enough electricity to run my VAuto any day of the year for 12h, whether its winter or summer.
The manual speaks of a peak power consumption of about 105W. That's probably without the humidifier and heated hose.

The Resmed battery guide gives some information but not at full pressure

Thats really what I was looking for, it fills in the blank spots. Standalone Airsense 10 : 12V x 1.66A = 19.92 watts Airsense 10 + HeatedHose MAX + Humidifier MAX : 12V x 5.61A = 67.32 watts HeatedHose MAX + Humidifier MAX : 67.32W - 19.92W= 47.4 watts VAuto peak power 105W + 47.4W = 152.4 watts I'll be aiming for 150W consumption then. Thats 1.8 kWh @12h per day. 657 kWh per year I probably botched the math but thanks anyway!

Why not call them?
I called them regarding the ingredients used in the P10 cushions. They were thoroughly helpful. |
