S9 Escape Auto can ... its an auto machine but only shows hours used and AHI but not central apnea detection, leak or efficacy data on the card
Also don,t have some of the other features which are available on the Autoset and Elite version

I'd confirm it is indeed new. Ask to be shown the total usage hours. I looked at the clinician manual and they mention it but I couldn't find where it was. You can erase the patient data of used hours but not the overall machine hours used data.

Hi Paula, Good idea. Can the Respiratory Therapist show me the machine usage? Or should I just wait and check it myself as soon as they leave? I believe it shows the serial number also which they would have on file, I found the usage on my Escape with the Serial Number pretty easily so think I could find it on the AutoSet. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes if they did try and pull a fast one, my insurance company really stepped up to get me a new machine as did my Doctor who wrote it as "New". Plus I confirmed with them on the phone that it is indeed a New machine and they said "yes".
Thanks Zonk, I missed that about the escape auto!

The total machine hours would be in the same place as the Escape.

What is it that "The Escape Auto can"?

"Used hours" is the one you can reset.
"Run hours" is the one that can't be reset.

At least I think so. "Run Hours" is actually not mentioned in the clinician's manual.

You can check this in the "advanced info" menu as well as the clinician's menu.

Press and hold both setup and info buttons for 5 seconds to get into the advanced info menu. Then go to "Sleep report" push the round knob to go into the report, then scroll down with the knob.

Get the free OSCAR CPAP software here.
Useful links.
Click here for information on the main alternative to CPAP.
If it's midnight and a DME tells you it's dark outside, go and check it yourself.

He said the therapist had set a pressure range and assumed only the Autoset can be set to a range vs a set single pressure. Zonk and I replied that the Escape Auto can be set to a pressure range.

Service
Displays the device run hours, software version and other component versions.

Run hours
Displays the total number of hours the device has been used including warm-up and cool-down times for the humidifier.
It is not affected by the period selected. This is the only data item that is not reset when data is erased.

Hey, Congrats, Tim.... exciting news.

Looking forward to seeing how you like it. If you don't have it already, go here and request a Clinician Setup Manual for the S9 AutoSet.

Well-done
