DESIGN QUESTION

DESIGN QUESTION
Would there be any value to building a preset capability (beyond the default settings) where presets could be developed for forum analysis, special conditions, etc? The preset could be either temporary or permanent and would only affect the display functions.

RE: DESIGN QUESTION
I think the standard view and advanced views are intended to work in that direction. Many members posting Oscar charts still just wing it and don't use the F12 screenshot function.

RE: DESIGN QUESTION
I did consider adding View/Save and Restore functions, which is pretty much the same as presets, when we implemented standard and advanced views. The existing mechanisms were not suitable to adding those capabilities without considerable thought and work, so the idea was deferred. Maybe someday when we redo the user interface...

Thanks. Please add it to the magical, never-ending, features, to-do list for reconsideration in the future. -- steve
