DIY Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor replacement
#11
Some drivers have taken the extreme approach of creating a 3" PVC pipe bomb with a Schrader valve on one of the end caps. The TPMS sensors are placed in there and the end caps sealed so the chamber can be pressurized to proper tire psi. They keep this chamber under their seat. It's hard to make something foolproof when there are such ingenious fools out there.

That's not a dumb as it sounds since it allows them to replace the sensors when getting new tires and perhaps avoid having to pay an extra fee. In the meantime, they don't have to put up with the nagging error flashing as they drive.

Hmm :-) Though I wouldn't want to have to explain what it is to the man while I am laying face down with a glock pointed at my skull.

Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. Access through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

I wanted to learn Binary so I enrolled in Binary 101. I seemed to have missed the first four courses. Big Grinnie

I had the same thought... Police find it and think "Pipe Bomb."
