DOT Compliance with home printed report?

DOT Compliance with home printed report?
Can anyone tell me if a home printed report with either ResScan or Sleepyhead will be sufficient to prove compliance with my DOT medical examiner? Or is my only recourse to go through my DME provider?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Rescan yes. I don't believe Sleepyhead is officially recognized for that.

Not sure about DOT, but FAA (a subset of DOT) accepts Sleepyhead reports.

There may be different compliance requirements for DOT depending on the state you live in.

Call the DOT medical examiner in your state and ask what they will accept. I have read that some require you bring the SD card in, and others have said a 30 day printed report from ResScan is accepted.

Here in Australia it seems we have to have a written report signed off on by our specialist in the first instance (if you have had this medical condition put on your licence as a restriction), then future annual compliance reports can apparently be signed off on by your GP... but I have yet to put all this to the test as I'm not yet at the first anniversary of my accident and subsequent suspension/reinstatement of licence.

I will know in August how it all works here in NSW/Australia.  Big Grin
