Data that OSCAR has never seen before

RE: Data that OSCAR has never seen before
I think Gideon meant to communicate that to the development-team. The data was anonymized and I'm sure he didn't intend to post that here.

Gideon, I put it in your dropbox.  Curious to see what oddities you find.  Let me know.

PR kept the "REMStar" branding between the 50- and 60-series. The 560P is a "REMstar Auto (System One 60 Series)", just as cpapmark said.

@cpapmark, it looks like your machine may have had some sort of humidification error on the night of 11/5.

That's my best guess, since during the night the humidifier briefly reported both "no data" and "system one humidification" at the same time (which triggered the OSCAR alert), and there's a file in the error directory that corresponds to that session.

Since OSCAR doesn't really do anything with that information, and since everything else was correctly imported, we'll remove the alert in this case (since we've now seen the data) and add a warning in the debug log.

Thanks for sending your card!

No, that was for sawinglogz, telling him where your file was located.

RE: Data that OSCAR has never seen before
Possibly should have posted this elsewhere because of the special circumstance, but DID just receive the "Data never seen before.. send zip of SD, etc.etc."

Have had no issues importing from the SD card for at least 2 years. I have the infamous DreamStation Auto Bi-PAP that has been under recall for over 6 months--- and just this week finally received a replacement. I probably should have imported my SD card's data before moving it to the replacement device, but didn't. So it contained data from both the original device and replacement device.
And when I just imported the data I received the "Data never seen before..." message. My initial reaction was "Oh s**t, the replacements might be using the DreamStation 2 data coding." Which would mean I'm screwed going forward-- a major bummer-- so I hope that's not the case.

I have a few weeks of Viatom/Wellvue data ready to be integrated but I'm reluctant to run that process until I learn what's what. I will be dropping a zip of the SD card right after I post this (the 1st 5 chars of the zip name is my user name).   I cannot recall what pdf file(s) the message requested-- please advise if other info is required.

Thanks-- JT

(FWIW:  The only noticeable difference between original and replacement devices was the modem 'hatch'. On my original the modem simply slipped in and out. The replacement had a little door covering part of the modem access that, once a I carefully removed, allowed me to slide My original modem into place without leaving any gap)

RE: Data that OSCAR has never seen before
Congrats on getting a replacement. The newly manufactured DS1 machines encode their tubing type/size in a different way than previous models did. This is already fixed for 1.3.1, which is now in beta.

If you can see your data at all in OSCAR, that's almost certainly the issue. The "Data never seen before" message is not what pops up for DS2 in 1.3.x.

So if you can see your data, you're fine. It just won't show your tubing type until you rebuild with 1.3.1 (once it's released).

Confirmed, 1.3.1 will handle this just fine. And 1.3.0 will simply omit the tubing type, everything else is accurate.

RE: Data that OSCAR has never seen before
Big thanks. I was afraid the 'fixed' boxes might have incorporated the dreaded DS2 data encoding.
(just noticed I was not subscribed/notified to this thread -- had only been checking e-mail for notification of a reply.)

Thanks again-- JT
