I doubt it. It can only handle a 2gb. It may handle a 4, I think someone once said they had used one?

It is like the old machines could only handle hard drives up to a certain size. You had to partition a hard drive that was larger. In order to have an S9 handle the 8gb card, you'd have to update the innards or the firmware. A new reader wouldn't make a difference.

You can't even put a 2gb microSD in an adapter and use that.
