Help me with Sleepyhead data
Dear forum members,
Good day. I am fairly new to CPAP having bought a Philips DreamStation Auto machine about a year ago. Been using it on and off since then. Recently downloaded the Sleepyhead software because the Philips Dreammapper software wasn't working anymore.
I have a rough idea about the data presented by Sleepyhead but that's about it. Would appreciate it if you can help me to setup my DreamStation Auto CPAP to reduce my AHI.
Since I am a new member, I am unable to post my sleepyhead screenshot data. Any help in this regard?
Thanks very much!

Hi jsurfin -
If you haven't read
Robysue's Beginner's Guide to Sleepyhead, I would strongly suggest that you do. It will give you an insight to all the data SleepyHead provides.
Good Luck!

Dear Crimson Nape,
Thank you for your reply. I had briefly read it before when I downloaded it awhile ago but it is really too technical for a newbie like me and that's why I was hoping to get help from experienced forum members to have a look at my data.

set up the page as per the instruction and upload the page to
http://imgur.com/
then post the link here with a space in the link..eg http ://imgur.com/ we can take the space out and read your chart.
when you have 4 posts you can post links, so keep replying here about nothing, just to get the 4 posts up.
a rough rule of thumb with the dreamstation, so min and max 2cm either side of the 90 or 95% pressure.
if 90/95% is 10cm, you would have minimum 8 and maximum 12

RE: Help me with Sleepyhead data
There's nothing in your data that screams "FIX THIS"
That's not to say that tweaking settings might not reduce the AHI a bit more. There is also still some snoring going on.
If you want to tweak and you are NOT dealing with aerophagia (air in the stomach), then I would suggest a modest increase in your min pressure setting. If aerophagia is not an issue, I think you might get better results bumping the min pressure up to 6.
