RERA - Respiratory Effort-Related Arousals

Has anyone had this many Respiratory Effort-Related Arousals in one night?

Is this normal or unusual?

I did have more VS than normal but had a lot of leaks as well.
Any feed back would appreciated.

Some of this may be leaks, the bulk is in the early sleep stages, so may have more to do with the nature of how you are slipping in to sleep. What is missing in this info is the oxymetry that could indicate if there are sO2 desats during the events.

Would Sleepy Head be able to read date from an oximeter?

I just use the CMS50-F oximeter. It's like a big wristwatch.
The software for it is free, So2 Assistant and it does very good graphic plots.
It does not seem to play well with SleepyHead yet but works fine standing alone.
Just make sure the clock is set right before starting the session.

Sleepyhead does work with most recording oxymeters, I use a Contec CMS50E (warning, it requires a special usb cable (provided) to charge it and transfer data) which is pretty good and imports nicely into Sleepyhead. Sleepyhead won't do a direct import, you have to download it to the computer as a file using the included software, then import the file to sleepyhead in the OX section (it is pretty straight forward). Sleepyhead will then combine it with your daily reading based on the time parameters you set in the fingerling before you started recording.

Tip: use some surgical tape to keep the fingerling from slipping or shifting - wrap it around the bottom bit of the the fingerling and attach it to your finger there.

Thanks Paula
I will save this post with the links.

That brings a question, is there a way to save a reply using the forum?

Thanks everyone
