Thanks for your reply. 

Being new in this journey, I do not know how to recognise what is acceptable, 'normal' or common. Only thing I know is that despite waking up at least once every hour for the first 3 hours of the night and then every 2 or 3 hours till I have to wake up for work I feel better than when I don't use the mask.

I don't enjoy the Resmed full face mask (it leaks too much) and am looking to change to the much heralded P10. Have to go for a fitting. Many are suggesting to get a few sizes to ensure a choice should one not fit. Using the mask is better than not but I still feel exhausted every day.

I look forward to sleep as I used to have-ie deep restful sleep.......

Will this ever happen again?

give it 2 months before the body gets use to all the little cpap quirks. I had one rule for myself, keep the mask on.,.,no excuses

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure.
