Difference in AHI Number

Difference in AHI Number
On my wife's Resmed Autosense 10 Autoset this morning it showed she had a 2.2 AHI but when I downloaded her data into Oscar it showed it at 1.5. Why the difference? First time I have seen this happen.

RE: Difference in AHI Number
Resmed's round the time, OSCAR doesn't. If she had several breaks during the night that could account for the difference.

Jaswilliams makes a good point. Have you checked the reporting period that your Resmed is using?

For a brief discussion of the rounding issue, see http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...leshooting.

Another possibility that has cropped up a couple times recently is that you didn't import the last session, so OSCAR and the machine are looking at different data. That can happen if your machine is on DST but your computer is on standard time and you imported the card less than an hour after you stopped using the machine. The workaround is just to import the card again.
