RE: Dizziness and cpap [and FFM]
Vivian, what are your pressures, and what kind of event rate do you have on CPAP? Have you tried lower pressure with nasal therapy?
RE: Dizziness and cpap [and FFM]
I almost never remember to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see "possibly related threads" and I've seen others' that weren't aware of these lists at all. So... in case you haven't seen them yet, viviangolden, there are 5 threads listed at the bottom of this page with "dizziness" in the title. IDK what's in them but might be worth a read if you haven't already.

RE: Dizziness and cpap [and FFM]
Thank you for taking the time to relay all this info. It is a slightly dizzy feeling that is worse if I move my head. Towards evening the feeling is almost gone almost as if the pressure has dissipated. Then it starts over again in the morning.
Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply.
RE: Dizziness and cpap [and FFM]
Thanks for the reply. I am on auto cpap with 4 min and 12 max with an average pressure of 5.75. I feel guilty complaining because other cpap users are on a much higher pressure then me. There is a big difference in how i feel when i use the dreamwear full face mask versus the dreamwear nasal cushion with the cushion giving me the most problems which is a shame because it is so light on my face. The FFM seems to dissipate the pressure better but its tearing my face up and it is so uncomfortable.
RE: Dizziness and cpap [and FFM]
I'm just curious but if your average pressure is 5.75 why is your max pressure set to 12? Perhaps if you post a screenshot of a couple of nights data someone here can ensure your settings are optimal for your needs. If you rarely need pressure over 10 I would consider capping the pressure and perhaps that might help. Let's see the data. See Sleeprider's post #11 above - in his signature line there are helpful links to organizing and posting data.

How's your blood pressure?
RE: Dizziness and cpap [and FFM]
The doctor set the max at 12 and occasionally the pressure has gone up to 11 but very rarely. I have a new mask coming today,Sleepweaver 3d, will see if that helps.
RE: Dizziness and cpap [and FFM]
Thanks for replying. The doctor check my blood pressure and everything else she could think of and everything is normal. Its related to cpap.
