Based on your sleep study, a little under half of your Apneas are Central!  This impacts the ultimate machine choice.  A sleep lab would say CPAP (AuroSet).  Other than time, not the AutoSet, nothing will affect the centrals.  A better machine, though still poor, is theb ResMed VAuto thit it's trigger sensitivity which has helped other members here.  The gold standard for Central Apneas is the ResMed ASV, which is significantly more expensive than the others. 

A normal progression for Central apnea, and we don't agree with, is
1. CPAP/APAP - Fail
2. BiLevel with out backup, VAuto - Fail
3. BiLevel with backup, ST - Fail
4. ASV - success

Congratulations, digitalsaw, on having such a wonderful first night!

In light of Bonjour's observation, it would be great to know what your AHI was last night, and even more, what the breakdown was (obstructive apnea, central apnea, hypopnea). Any chance you could download the Oscar software to a laptop or desktop and import the data from your SD card? The link to Oscar is at the top of the page.

FWIW I was successful in skipping step 3 bonjour mentioned, the ST. It does not cancel out how long and frustrating the ASV path is once entered upon. It's good practice to document symptom/complaint lists with these doctors to have medical necessity within your patient file. Long or chronic symptoms count fairly high in going forward I have found. Make mention of this every time you see any of these docs.

Hey gang.
So, I've had three nights and have had great sleep.  The second night I slept 8 hours uninterrupted!  You can't imagine how much that helped me.  I have had MyAir scores of 88, 100 and 93, and the only deductions were time usage.  I put the SD card in on Saturday so I've got two days data.  I've never used OSCAR but I am planning to get a few more days and then upload the data to see what it says.  ]
The only 'negative' is my nostrils are a bit sore in the morning but that goes away before noon.  I have been told it takes them getting used to the pillows.  That, however, is not a big problem, especially when I'm experiencing such great sleep.  My wife says I don't make a sound and she isn't used to that! 
Alright, I'm going to press on.  Thanks again for the advice.  I'm drinking from the proverbial fire hose right now with all I'm learning about CPAP machines and Apnea but it has been a good thing.

Oh, bravo! It'll be good to see your Oscar information, in case there are some little tweaks that might be helpful. Let us know if you have any trouble with the software. My one piece of advice is to read the installation/migration guide before you start. I didn't, and I wished I had!
