RE: Airfit F20 advice
I have to toss my memory foam cushions every 4-5 weeks, once they start leaking.

RE: Airfit F20 advice
My DME supplies 3 masks every quarter.  I haven't had a problem with leaking or abrasion/irritation on my face.  I believe the manual says not to wash them, but I have good luck washing in warm soapy water about every week or two.  The foam has to be gently squeezed out to remove excess water and they look kind of dented until they dry out after a few hours.  If I wash in the AM they are ready to go by bedtime.

BTW, I'm still using the "modified" Quiet Air elbow.  I removed the diffuser ring so the holes show on the outside.  I like feeling the flow and it doesn't hurt my sleeping.  I'm still spooked by the quiet air silence, but I may get back to it once I finish adjusting pressure on the APAP mode to stop the periodic apneas I seem to have developed.

I love the Air F20, could never get used to the nasal pillows and this mask has been very comfortable. Mine still has the original rubber, had it one month now and waiting on my 2nd mask to come in from the DME.

Interesting.  I'm on week 10 of my first Airtouch cushion which has some slight damage to the foam due to nightly drooling.  MyAir still shows 20/20 for mask seal.

The only maintenance I do to the mask is a daily wipe of the cushion with a Resmed wipe.

At AU$25 a pop, I want them to last as long as possible.

My face is very oily.  I imagine the foam doesn't like oil.  I do wash my face immediately before bed, but by morning my face is an oil slick.

My silicone masks also start leaking around the 30 day mark.  So it's probably moreso a result of my body's effect on the mask, rather than on the mask itself?
