Does this look like I need an ASV? Does this look like Cheyne-Stokes?

Does this look like I need an ASV? Does this look like Cheyne-Stokes?
Hello all,

I am going to post a snip of my OSCAR. I have a BiPap (ResMed) VAuto. I wanted to know if my breathing pattern looks like I likely will need an ASV machine? Can BiPap fix these (I still have many Obstructive events on the same night)? Does it look like something I should Keep taking the advice of "keep using the BiPap" at current pressure and maybe these will just go away?

If I so need an ASV, (if I paid out of pocket so, whether or not insurance covers it) do you HAVE to get a titration for ASV? Or can someone typically Auto-Titrate at home kinda like a AirSense CPAP Auto?

Does this look like Cheyne Stokes?

(For the 3 picture max, I uploaded three OSCAR report screenshot - let me know if I need to scroll down and show more and if I can post more, I will)

Thank you all! Thanks

Not CSR, but likely a heavy cluster of centrals There is also a cluster of OA later in the night. Your Vauto will flag CSR when the pattern is closer to the gradual waxing and waning of flow rate. Let's get some background on how you come to be on bilevel therapy using fixed pressure at 15/11 PS 4. So far all we have is 1.75 hours of therapy data with no ideal if this is typical. I see a lot of indications we can probably resolve this through settings, and my inclination is to get you on a range of pressure, perhaps adjust the trigger sensitivity to high, and see how different pressures sort themselves out. If you can shut off the Pie Chart on charts we can see a lot more of the respiratory data.

Thanks. I have couple of sections on the left with more info here.

Does this look like I am a candidate for ASV? Also, my  BiPap Titration study report said "Zero central events". I am using the same settings. Could there be that much difference from a titration machine to a ResMed AirCurve?

I didn't get into REM sleep during my titration. though...

There is simply insufficient information to make a conclusion on ASV. With only one short session of data at a fixed pressure, bilevel setting, there is just not any reason to conclude you have a serious and persistent central apnea problem that might not be resolved with different settings, or that this is even typical. Based on the zoomed image, I'm not even convinced this is central apnea as it has many characteristics of positional airway obstruction with low-volume flow restricted breathing followed by vigorous recovery breathing. Apnea clusters like this, whether obstructive or central are often "positional" http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...onal_Apnea

I see. Can a BiPap (or even Cpap) help with Positional apnea? What would a full blown central look like usually in contrast to positional? (I can't tell which one that would be based on the link you sent, sorry lol)

Ill attach mpre zoomed out version for you to see. This night, I took it off a couple times as you can see.

Thinking-about Thanks

Let's focus on getting a couple more nights of data so we can see what the trends is.
