Downloading data to SD card of Resmed for nights that SD card not in ResMed machine
For a ResMed S9 VPAP adapt, there is an SD card that one puts in the ResMed respiratory assist device to transfer data to a computer with ResScan software. If the ResMed user doesn't put the SD card into the ResMed device for a couple of recent nights, how can one get the detailed data from the ResMed device for the two missed nights using the SD data card? Thanks.

Have you tried putting the card back in?

I have a PR, not a ResMed, but if my card is out of the machine and I put it in the next day, it loads the summary data but not the raw data onto the card.

There's no "secret procedure" I'm aware of, so if you put the card back in and the data doesn't appear, that's probably all you're going to get. 8-)

Detailed data written directly on the card and not retrievable if the card was not inside the machine. Whenever you put the card inside the machine, the machine write therapy and summary data on the card up to 365 days. ResScan shows the data for the these couple nights minus detailed data, SleepyHead shows no data as SH need "all data including detailed data"

The S9 SD card stores 365 days of therapy and summary, 30 days detailed data, and 7 days of flow data

Thanks for all your responses. They were helpful and welcoming.

Conclusion: It looks like detailed data is not stored on the ResMed device and is only stored on the SD card. So there's nothing to download if the SD card isn't inserted in the ResMed device during sleep.

Thanks again.

When you put your card back into the machine, did the Statistical data and the Summary data get written to it for the days the card had been missing?

(As Zonk explained, you would have to use ResScan to see the partial data, since SH will not show partial data.)

If you took the card out to put it in your pc so you could use rescan or sleepyhead, and then forgot to put it back in the machine, you might want to take a look at the Flashair threads.

After doing that twice, I decided that the flashair was a more foolproof system for me. Smile
