Could you kindly explain further.  It seems that besides the IP, the App Store reads the mobile number, hence the location!  That means that i won't be able to download the app from Philips.  This is pure geoblocking and I think that the only way to crack it is to use a VPN and mark an USA location hence bypassing the IP.

Noel

Noel,
Unfortunately I tried using VPN for this but android uses more astute ways to enforce geoblocking.
I even tried using VPN and fake GPS but to no avail.

If anyone has access to the app could send us a copy I think we both would be very happy Wink

Meanwhile I will try to check fora which specialise in this topic (getting around geoblocked android apps. I will update this thread accordingly.

My opinion only, but Dreammapper is worthless. It basically shows you what the display on the machine shows you. I stopped using it. Now I use sleepyhead and remove and replace the SDcard whenever I need to look at the new data.

I do understand what you are saying but please try to keep to topics.
At times reading through threads on this forum feels like being bombarded by sales reps of SleepyHead who get a commission every time they mention the software.

Also keep in mind that the supplier in Malta and the Sleep Clinic at the general hospital TERRORISE users not to insert the SD card into ANY computer as "doing so would corrupt all the data on the card and invalidate the warranty!" And I am very tech savvy (IT professional) yet I'm still very weary to actually try putting the SD card in the PC.

(But THANKS for helping me write my 3rd post... one more to go before I can post the link.)

You may not be able to post the link even after 4 posts — have you read the Rules?  (It's in the black banner at the top of the page.)  Number 5 speaks to posting links which a lot of folks stumble over.

Hope this gets you closer to your threshold!

Oh!  If you find the link isn't permitted, you might be willing to offer the download to the forum admins for inclusion in the forum's library. jus' sayin'

I've read the rules... they are about commercial sites... the link i want to post is not a commercial site ;-)

But your suggestion to send it to the forum admins for inclusion in the library is a very interesting one... Maybe more people could benefit.

Thanks!

There is a forum about android stuff, and they have a thread for those who cannot download certain apps because they are blocked. I contacted them and made a request for DreamMapper...

Here it is: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpos...ount=12625

Enjoy!

I just tried the link and got the "404 Page Not Found" Error. I guess you have to be there to appreciate it.
