DreamStation BT Pairing code?

I am working on an iOS app will feed my recorded data into the HealthKit system, but I'm struggling on trying to connect to the DreamStation 500 through Bluetooth. I have found the scratch and service UUID values for my unit, but any attempts to connect require a pairing to occur and I have no idea what the correct pairing code is.

Anyone know the pairing blue, or decompiled the Dream Mapper app to see how it communicates?

decompiling the app probably would violate a number of laws. Have you seen this pdf:

Other than trying to hack the bluetooth protocol stack - for educational purposes. Linux has a number of tools that do that and some distros have many of the tools builtin (Kali).

Thanks for the document - I had NOT seen that and it was helpful.

Turns out I was attempting to manually pair to one of the two other Dreamstation's in my house, rather than the unit I had in front of me. Stupid mistake on my part, but I'm connected now and will start looking at the data that can be extracted.

Would be VERY interested in your resulting software product. I use the Dreamstation currently but the Dreammapper software leaves a lot to be desired. (I’m on iOS11, btw)
