CSR is a specific type of periodic breathing... respironics machines detect a wide variety of periodic breathing, many of them are not CSR.

Ok, if I'm understanding right it used to distinguish between CSR and other periodic breathing events, but it is not now.

Thanks palerider.

respir series one machines had a periodic breathing flag, and after examining LOTS of peoples printouts, the machine would flag any rhythmic breathing patterns as periodic breathing. and that's all they'd do.... and the dreamstation is the same.

CSR is a very specific type of PB, that involves full central apneas in between the crescendo decrescendo breathing.

RE: DreamStation Software Now Available
Sorry to resurrect an old topic, I spent the afternoon going through this, copying and pasting certain information into a Word document to refer to.
*smile*

I tried to install Encore Pro and had some of the same issues you discussed.

Couple of questions...

What version of SQL do I need to get from Microsoft??

Seems like the ones I uninstalled were 2008???
Read here to make sure it says Express...

Which installation do I use, typical or custom???

I have Windows 10 64bit

THANKS!!!

Same here! It works fine! No problem. Is there any user manual to download?

Just wondering, is Encore Pro Basic still available and has it been updated so it's compatible with the Dreamstation?

There may be a version of EncoreBasic that has been updated, but the version that we've been able to find is not compatible with DreamStation machines.

The EncorePro version currently being distributed is compatible with the DreamStation machines.

And of course, SleepyHead is now compatible with DreamStation machines.
