After reading the OP's post and the thread title (I should always do this first), this is a moot point since the member is using a Philips Dreamstation and not a Resmed.

Correct, no auto mode on Dreamstations.

My Dreamstation auto Bipap has an adaptive mode. It adjusts the heater plate to adjust to ambient conditions to prevent condensation. I'm assuming this is on all Dreamstation models.

My DreamStation Pro has the adaptive mode as well.
