Dreamstation Software
Hi All,
I have a Dreamstation that has a modem which presents some good information that I have been keeping track of via spreadsheet. I have tried all sorts of things to bring my AHI down but it seems to be stuck around 9.0. I'm running APAP mode with a 5.5 - 9.5 pressure setting. Clear way Apneas: 24, Obstructive Apneas: 34, Hypops: 20 for an average of 79 total Apneas. My typical total Apneas go from 60 to 132 in a 4 day recording.
With each change I always go 2 weeks and record the findings. My problem is that I do not have the fine details that the Oscar software can reveal where my issues really are. Have been on this thing for over 4 years and my Doc/Tech appears to never want to reveal the real data they capture. So, I am appealing to those who may have some knowledge of the Phillips Dreamstation Modem data so I can hopefully find out if my swings are Central related (many Hpops) vs the direct obstructions.

RE: Dreamstation Software
I would suggest to read the FAQ on the Oscar Software. Read on how to install and set up a Profile on your PC. Then upload your SD Card data. Then you can start your own thread here, with the pertinent screen shots so that the experts here are able to help guide you on next steps.
Sounds like you are not getting very good guidance from your physician, and in light of your poor stated results, I urge you to get going with the Oscar set up and install ASAP.

RE: Dreamstation Software
I agree - however, where I only have the modem - there is no SD card on the machine.
RE: Dreamstation Software
ALL of the DS1s and DS2 have a slot for an SD card which may or more likely not have been provided with your machine.
I suppose you could "wiretap" the signal from your machine and then hack the interpretation of it, but OSCAR will not as the SD cards provide the data that is needed.
RE: Dreamstation Software
Gideon,
Yes, there is no slot provided. Sounds like I will have to wrestle the data from my Provider. This will be a challenge!
RE: Dreamstation Software
We frequently receive zipped files of all different Dreamstations SD cards that we use for the development of OSCAR.
Which specific model do you have? I'll look up in the manual for you or a DS user will come along and say it is here.
RE: Dreamstation Software
Pull the humidifier tank from the machine. You will see the SD card slot once the tank is removed.
RE: Dreamstation Software
Open the door on the right side of a DS1 to access the SD card slot (and filters)
RE: Dreamstation Software
Did that - there is no SD slot. This appears to be a Dreamaker 2, with a designed modem where the SD slot is. The SD slot was removed to fit the modem.
