CMS-50D+ software

RE: CMS-50D+ software
After Further reading and testing I have come up with a "Better" approach less likely to introduce errors the main issue here is the CMS50D+ does not have a realtime clock so the data is not tagged with a date/time

1. Import the data into SPO2 Assistant Use the online Manual
2. Select Save AS and save the SPO2 file to a Folder in My Documents
3. Run SPODateChanger.exe (Availiable Here Click to see forum post) To modify the SPO2 file and set to correct date and time
4. Use the Oximetric Wizard in Sleepyhead to import a data file
5. Selected Date and time will display and the file will import successfully

Much simpler and supposedly more reliable

When trying to import data into SP02 Assistant I get this window.  When I click OK it goes away.  When I try to open the Open File window on SP02 Assistant it opens a DATA folder with nothing in it.  For the life of me I cannot find where the Data storage is- IF it is being stored.  Also have any idea where the file is eluded to on the attached clip? Unless I'm grossly overlooking it I have never seen a program that doesn't select, or allow selection of a DATA file when one is used by it unless NOTHING is making it into it -till now!

AHA!  FINALLY!  Sp02Assistant linked to the heretofore elusive DATA file to find numerous tests I had tried over several days.
Now maybe something positive will happen Too-funny

RE: CMS-50D+ software
Here is where the DATA files reside on this Windows 7 x64 computer.  The Data is accessible in the center (unlocked) file only thru Sp02Assistant it seems.  Apparently the CMS-50D+ uploaded data is secured and was not available to find/access previously UNLESS Sp02Assistant is queried under OPEN FILES on opening screen.  This prevents your DATE CHANGER from accessing a particular DATA file. Incidentally the locked Sp02 folders both above and below only show via SP02Assistant and neither display any .SP02 files.

Anyone know how to remove the lock on the files??

If you are referring to importing the SpO2 files into SleepyHead, you will need to move the files from their default directory to another directory you have created before they can be accessed by SleepyHead. It seems to be a file permission problem.

The issue with the file lock is that spo2 assistants default data directory is in program files (poor programming) sleepyhead does not like importing from there create a folder in my documents for the spo2 data files and move them there. You can use ‘save as’ in spo2 Assistant and save them to your folder In my documents. Next run the date time changer with a date time inside the file sleepyhead is much happier importing and the user experience is much better.

YOU THE MAN MEN!   Jason you 'nailed it' Dancing

Back in the day such a program/software would be called a "goat rope".  I have a lot of hours fooling with this thing and I doubt seriously IF I would have ever figured it out myself.  Let's hope all this helps others who are struggling with this issue.

BTW- I had to use 'send to' > DOCUMENTS; then went there and moved the 'sent' data file to the Sp02 data file I had created there, then the date changer worked like a charm and SleepyHead accepted it and put it under the proper date. [As I had to lay-off my APAP until I got a proper prescription from the Doctor I was unable to check out the integration with a PAP data]

WHEW! Thanks
